Hosts being dishonest on air
Each of the hosts keep stating that the Joy & Iman TS ” has completely Sold Out.” Well, it has not sold out! According to HSN.com it is still available in a few colors. Is the legal department listening to this? How are they allowed to lie on national television and no one is in their ear telling them to stop? How are we supposed to trust what the hosts say if they are always being dishonest about the sales? This is quite a common practice on HSN.

Have to agree…. Have shopped hsn for well over 20yrs… Have lost my faith with them lately….
Not sure if it’s common practice… However it maybe a way to kinda panic you when maybe interested in ordering…
Not ordering much as the shipping issue has been terrible.

Not only HSN hosts but other shopping channel hosts are guilty of the same buying pressure tactics. I tend to go online, look at the reviews, then make up my mind. I also make it a practice to provide a review so others can benefit.

IN defense of the hosts, they can only go by whatever information is given them. They are not sitting with all the info in front of them to be able to intentionally lie. Secondly, the computer system doesn’t even always know because people put it in their cart, purchase it and then change their minds and so then the item goes back to be purchased. this is not necessarily misinformation by the hosts.
Not only that, but if you have said amount showing available and you see there’s more people on the phones than what’s available then it would also make sense to determine the item would be sold out.

The item may have sold out for phone customers. Not everyone owns a computer or if they do, may not shop on line. That is why I usually check .com to see if there are any left. And if HSN.Com is sold out then one can check HSN2. Three different areas all with their own items and phone numbers.

Hmmm…..don’t know about this one but they do LIE all the time about an item almost being sold out and it’s still available the next day. There’s a few honest hosts and if they’re not on, I don’t bother with their annoying lies. They do intentionally lie.

Maybe they had “X” number of product for that time slot and they did sell out the amount alloted for that time. Just guessing.
