Coupon Received, with ALL RESTRICTIONS!!!!

There have been many posts on the HSN coupon. Many disliked that it went to a select few. Others complained that it wasn’t a true coupon, etc. etc.. I even chimed in that other shopping websites offer 15-60% off coupons that were a true coupon, no restrictions. Best part, you could use that coupon all day and sometimes the next two or three days and as many times as you want while the coupon was active. No, the coupon wasn’t just for one item, but rather, the entire purchase. HSN really needs to search these other websites and become more competitive. Who ever heard that free shipping was an offer. And, if it is, then why wasn’t it posted in the coupon itself. Hmm……..I know Lady81 it really isn’t worth all that weight in gold to pursue this, but I for one would make another call and let them know that it wasn’t stated on the coupon, not even in the smallest print.

Thank you so much for your reply. You’re correct, It’s out of line that they call the “free shipping” and offer. Also, yes, it’s absolutely nowhere!!! not even small print the free shipping in an “offer”.

I SO HEAR YOU!!!  If companies can’t make coupons simplier just don’t send them out at all.  I can’t tell you the number of times I went to checkout and then was told my coupon was invalid.  I am usually so frustrated by then that I just remove everything and forget the coupon.  It’s just not worth the time to go back thru everything again. Please make deals good on everything, and your customers will be back again and again.

Ive been a member for about 30 yrs. or so, I too hate all the restrictions on coupons ! I would of ordered so much more if not for all the restrictions ! Its our coupon ,we should be able to use it on anything ! We ve spent $1,000s over the years ! Thanks, just my 2 cents worth ! Have a great day all !

If you go into Community, there is a search engine just above Brianna’s name. Put in Coupons and you will be able to visit many of the posts pertaining to what we have been discussing. I definitely thought that HSN would be changing their coupons, but evidently they are not. I do hate the restrictions, especially the “made up” ones by Customer Service when it is not in print elsewhere. I can remember when a coupon was a true coupon with HSN. And then over the years it evolved into an e-mail for “a select few,” and others with so many restrictions you wondered if you would ever use it or want to use it because when you start adding things up the coupon was worthless. 

I agree , Juat once I would like to see a 15 dollar coupon with No restrictions , I too have been shopping here fr years , The coupons they send me usually have about  6 numbers and they never take them , They always say you need more numbers ,

With the extremely high interest rate charged on their card they really need to offer good coupons every month.Anyone that carries a balance on their card is being robbed on interest charges..Places like Finger-hut are famous for high rates because most people with that card usually can’t qualify for a low rate card but the HSN card is even higher.Even if good coupons were offered it would not off set the crazy rates but it would help.The few times I have tried using a coupon I was never able to so I no longer bother looking for coupons…and they will post a coupon on my home page at times for a new customer knowing I can’t use it because I have been here for years.

If you send me a coupon, and I bite on it, you are making money off of me, regardless of what it is I wish to spend my money on.

HSN shouldn’t care, as long we spend the amount necessary, to get the discount amount, why should it matter if we want to spend on TS, today onlys, items with free shipping, or even clearance items. 

What is happening to my posts?? Third try to tell you the HSN email about the free shipping says it CAN be combined with non-shipping coupons.

You need a PHD to navigate around the HSN coupons verbage.

Ridiculously time consuming, takes enormous effort on your part, HELLO?

And then good luck getting it work the 1st, 2nd, 6th time around.

It would be nice if just once you weren’t holding your breath during the whole process!
