Please join me in standing up for COUPON EQUALITY!!! The purpose of this thread is to put a stop to customer discrimination. Please share how the current coupon policy has affected u and your shopping experience w HSN. Choose your words carefully, as I would like to share this with Corporate.

Right on schedule – my Bed, Bath and Beyond monthly coupon for 20% off 1 single item was in my mailbox. Get one every month. Best part – it has an expiration date but BBB will honor all of their coupons anytime. I save them up so when I go shopping I get 20% off just about everything I need. And many items at BBB are also sold on HSN and many times BBB’s price is lower and then I get a 20% on top of that. I guess BBB wants me to keep shopping with them and will do anything to get me through their doors. HSN – well – they seen to have a “REAL” issue with coupons. Way to many restrictions and for “select” customers only? Why do you keep lists and how do you determine who is and who isn’t a “select customer” HSN? And why do you put so many restrictions on a simple 20% off coupon? So many restrictions that it virtually makes the coupon un-usable for most? You couldn’t be doing that on purpose now would you????? I can use my 20% off on a new Dyson vacuum at BBB, but at HSN – that is just one of many items your coupons will not cover. Call me “completely baffled in Michigan!” And I guess I’m going to have to stay that way for a very long time because it seems HSN does not want to explain how they determine who gets a coupon and who doesn’t or what you can use a coupon on and what you can’t. After months of countless people asking – no one has really answered THAT question! You’re Mods jump in once in a while and leave a comment but in no way do they explain the questions I am asking you here. If you don’t want to give customers coupons – why don’t you just come right out and say so? Why beat around the bush, making so many people so angry with your “select customer” while none of us has the slightest clue what a “select customer” is?

I WANT COUPONS TO USE TOO! I DON’T THINK THEY SHOULD BE SO HARD TO COME BY. SEEMS LIKE A LOT OF US ARE HUNTING THEM DOWN INSTEAD OF HSN JUST PUTTING THEM OUT THERE FOR EVERYONE TO USE. YES IT’S GREAT TO BRING IN NEW CUSTOMERS WITH GOOD DEALS, BUT WHAT ABOUT YOUR LONG TIME, LONG SPENDING CUSTOMER?!! WHAT ABOUT US. DON’T WE COUNT FOR ANYTHING? I THINK WE SHOULD BE REWARDED FOR ALL THE BUSINESS WE HAVE ALREADY GIVEN YOU. SOME TYPE OF REWARDS PROGRAM WOULDN’T BE BAD EITHER. IF IT WEREN’T FOR THIS LADY HERE ( KEMIQUEEN ) I WOULD HAVE MADE A LOT LESS PURCHASES. SO YOU SHOULD BE REWARDING HER FOR HELPING US OUT TOO. I FOUND OUT ON THIS COMMUNITY BOARD THAT MY BIRTHDAY COUPON WAS BECAUSE I WAS A HSN CARDHOLDER. I’M SURE EVERYONE LIKES A BIRTHDAY COUPON TO USE FOR THEIR SPECIAL DAY. IT ALSO MAKES A CUSTOMER FEEL APPRECIATED, SO WHY NOT GIVE THEM OUT. YOU WOULD NOT BE OUT MUCH AND YOUR BUSINESS WOULD IMPROVE. SO THATS WHERE MY HEADS AT TODAY. PLEASE BE FAIR WITH YOUR COUPONS & NOT JUST GIVE MOST OUT TO THE NEW GUY. I’M TIRED OF HAVING TO HUNT DOWN A COUPON WHEN I NEED ONE. IT SHOULDN’T BE THIS HARD TO SAVE A LITTLE. FOR PEOPLE LIKE MYSELF DISABLED AND ON A FIXED INCOME. SOMETIMES I NEED THAT $5 DOLLARS OFF TO BE ABLE TO MAKE MY PURCHASE OR MAKE 2 INSTEAD OF 1 PURCHASE. SO, WHAT DO YOU SAY, HSN?!! I HOPE THIS COMES OF SOMETHING POSITIVE & YOU LISTEN TO US. I WANT TO BE TREATED FAIRLY JUST LIKE THE NEXT PERSON. THE WAY THINGS ARE NOW, IT JUST LOOKS LIKE THE NEW CUSTOMER IS GETTING ALL THE BREAKS AND THAT’S NOT FAIR. PLEASE CHANGE YOUR COUPON POLICY!!

I am a frequent HSN shopper and an active Member of the HSN Community. Due to the abundance of customer complaints regarding coupons and the chaos it was creating in the Community, I came up with a plan.
On July 19, 2016, I asked Community Members to share their thoughts in a constructive manner on a single thread. I made it clear that I intended to submit the comments to HSN Headquarters without alteration.
You have a strong clientele who not only wants to feel acknowledged but also rewarded for their business. The frustration regarding Selected Customers and other coupon restrictions has made many question their loyalty and sent some to other retailers.
I love HSN and want to have a better experience shopping with you. Thank you for taking the time to review my submission.

I think its pretty simple. Today I asked customer service to activate a coupon code on my account. I was told I was not “selected” to use it. Well, obviously it made me feel completely unappreciated as a customer. If I would have been able to use that coupon tonight I would have made a purchase. However since Im not important enough to use the coupon, I wont be buying it tonight.
Really HSN why not allow the coupons for everyone? would only increase sales .

I have received 9 Kohls dollars for our 9th year anniversary.
I can combine that with my monthly Kohls discount.

I agree I live for coupons as today’s economy is scary, HSN is great !! Although at times I feel guilty trying to use a coupon which isn’t fun , & at times bothers me greatly , if HSN doesn’t want to give coupons then it should not be offered at all , because it is disappointing & I feel HORRIABLE asking ( seems always invailed) customer service because it take away from the experience ! ?????? ?? thank you , for addressing this situation !????

I am on board with everyone. Sharing is caring. Everyone deserves a small shot of happiness. Coupons are rare now a days. I spend a lot. And have actually not have gotten the best prices all the time. It just makes me want to spend a little more if I can get even a small discount.
