YBF NEUTRALIZING PRESSED POWDER
I’ve been purchasing several YBF products for a few years. However, I must say the neutralizing powder, by far, is my favorite YBF product. I use the loose powder to “set’ my make-up early in the day. I keep the compact of pressed powder in my purse if a touch up is needed. Stacey referred to this as “powerhouse powder”…and it is! This, truly, does give a flawless look to my skin. I always receive compliments then the question “where did you buy it?”. This has bought many new folks into the YBF family. The pressed powder I just received is a lovely compact, However, it doesn’t compare to the “glitz” of a previous compact. Previous compact was covered in clear crystals and the YBF logo was in red crystals. (See photo below.) That compact ALWAYS drew questions whenever anyone else saw it. It was so very different from anything on the market. I surely hope Stacey considers bringing this particular configuration back. It’s a real stunner. This neutralizing powder does all that was described in the demonstration and then some! IF you haven’t tried it, please do. My guess is you’ll love it as well. This is the crystal compact I was talkng about. It also came with the brush. The compact itself opened like regular compact. Yet, once it’s opened, it has a clear plastic door that opened from left to right (rather than straight up). This covers the pressed powder. VERY UNIQUE. The compact also has a mirror (as does the one I just received).:womanhappy:

kemiqueen recommended this powder to me and I really like it. When I first apply it, it looks yellow on me but it soon blends in. I wish the picture was up that you posted but I’m sure it will be. Most people are asleep at this hour, including the administrators who ok pics. Unfortunately this will be an insomnia night for me 🙁 Women gravitate to pretty things and from your description and what you have experienced, YBF would benefit from continuing with the pretty compact.

Hello, is this a talc based powder, thanks.

Love this powder! Mine isn’t bejewelled though. That is gorgeous!!

Thanks so much for the reply, I do try to steer clear of talc based powders if I can. Also, I checked on ebay there are tons of these powders listed for sale, some with very fancy compacts of various sorts, check them out.

Her yellow powder isn’t for everyone. It looked awful on my skintone. and it didn’t cover my red cheeks.

I tried this yellow based powder about 3 or 4 years ago and it looked absolutely awful on my very fair skin, easily prone to redness, rosacea. wonder why it didn’t work. Could it be that I am too fair?

My very favorite powders and bronzers are SCA. They make the most beautiful finish and never look cakey.

The neutralizing powder is back in stock, although not with the glitzy case and brush
