Whats your favorite makeup brush
Tell us about YOUR favorite makeup brush!!!
Mine is the Michael Todd SonicBLEND. HSN should start carrying this wonderful tool. I love my Michael Todd Soniclear I purchased from HSN.
The SonicBLEND is the first of its kind makeup brush to use sonic technology to apply makeup. Better than rotating makeup brushes, the SonicBLEND applies makeup flawlessly at up to 400 micro-movements per second. Easily sweeps on foundation, blush, contour, highlight, setting powder and bronzer without lines or streaks for natural looking airbrushed-like results every time. PLUS, SonicBLEND comes with built in protection against microbial contamination so the brushes stay cleaner, fresher longer.
Michael Todd Beauty is offering 40% off their entire site w Cyber Monday code CMY40.

kemi… I saw this Thread within minutes of your Posting it and, naturally, had to go look! I’ve spent the last 3-hours researching this tool, looking at comparable products, watching youtube videos and, OKAY, I bit, and it’s all your fault!!! *lol*
Ordered the Sonic Brush in Pink, of course, *lol*, and the #8 Flat Top Brush… I’ll use one for Foundation and one for Blush. The regular price of the Sonic Brush was $99 and the #8 Brush $26.50 equaling $125.50… with the 40% Cyber Monday Coupon Code, got the whole magilla for $75-bucks… thanks for that!!!

Thank you for the eye opening new product. I’ve been using Beauty Blender for years and found it adequate. This sounds better. With the discount , I was willing to try. I bought the flat top brush, also. I have been using Trish McEvoy BB cream makeup. It has been good for me, but I’m always willing to try a new product. It pays to watch the posts here!

More interesting deets:
SonicBLEND provides better coverage so you use less makeup. Can help improve the overall healthy look of your complexion by minimizing the possibility of clogging pores as well as irritation from rubbing and stretching the skin which can occur with traditional makeup application.

The small round Artis brush is my favorite concealer brush,it’s perfect for that little space between your nose and inner eye.and I like to cover my red spots by lightly tapping the concealer on with the tips of the bristles, you get cover without buildup.

Hi! Just a little add on— Cleansing of your makeup brushes- Very, very important, I clean mine weekly as you all know a dirty brush can lead to breakouts on the skin & we pay for all this fine skin care & then expensive makeup so we need to take care of our brushes. I, personally use a mild shampoo to wash my makeup brushes and use warm not hot water to wash them. The reason not to use HOT water is if you use hot water to cleanse the brushes the hot water will break down the glue that is holding your bristles in the brush. And, we ladies know we pay a lot of money for these brushes!!
After I wash & I do not soak them very long as well because the water can soak up into them as well loosening the glue, then I rinse very well, squeeze gently & I place them with my fingers back into their original shape as best I can & then lay them on a towel to air dry. This has allowed me to maintain my brushes for several years & they look & work as good as new. I use the IT brushes and also have Bare Mineral brushes that I have had way over 10 years and they perform very well still.
I hope this little tidbit helps some as my intention is only to help as I care about each and everyone of you very much. I may not post often, however you all are in my thoughts. Merry Christmas & Happy Holidays to All 🙂

I noticed Bare Minerals just came out with a brush cleaner as well. Again, it is not a substitute for cleaning your brushes, it is for when you want to change your eyeshadow colors and such very quickly. I think I will pick up a bottle when I go to Ulta. I believe it is $19 but I think you will only use a tiny amount when you just give a quick spray & wipe when you change out for eyeshadow & such???

Kemiqueen how do you like BareM?

Brett’s feminine side is really racking up sales of Trish’s brush set!
