Whats the best concealer to cover dark bruises and black eyes

It Cosmedics has good coverage…then leave the guy.

all of these suggestions are awesome!! everything from going as natural as possible drinking water and getting in lots of rest/sleep to suggesting the most concentrated of concealers. i love it when we help each other on the hsn community. as for me, i agree with all of the suggestions. i personally use bare escentuals concealer. it may not be the best but i do like how easy it goes on and covers well. also, the brand it cosmetics is utterly fabulous!!! and, their brushes are the best on the market. also, i would be remiss if i did not give a shout-out to faire for being loyal to the cosmetic boutique brand merle norman. there has been a small merle norman cosmetics boutique in my town since the late sixties, early seventies. and, as i have said before on the hsn forums, this was the first “american” brand of cosmetics that my mother ever used when she first came to america from italy. it is as relevant today as it was back then. i wish more people would support and promote it. just love it. in any event, i hope all goes well with all of our choices. good luck to finding the best individual solutions!!! and, always stay blessed, my friends. xoxo

My thoughts about this went to…..what ever you put on, your going to need to remove.

If just touching your eye/cheek hurts you, I don’t know how you would get

 make-up or cover-up off.

Hello  sorry for that unfortunate accident.  Any concealer will do the job.  If you are staying home I would not put anything on it.  Even going out, a big pair of sunglasses will do just fine to hide the bruising.  

For anti-aging I suggest when at home to go without makeup entirely and getting a good nights sleep is top on the list.  When we sleep skin cells regenerate.  “beauty sleep”……:womanhappy:

Still too sore to touch,my other eye blacked up yesterday too but not as bad,the original black eye is getting alot of yellow to it so it’s healing ok.I watched some tutorials ,I have one of those concealer wheels from Signature Club A with the aqua and pink and I don’t remember what,but the aqua color is supposed to neutralize purple so maybe if it does’t smart too much I’ll try it tomorrow,also since my cheek forehead and chin got scraped and a few cuts I may break out the Luminess I didn’t have the patience to use before and cover those booboos without having to touch them too much.

I’d go to ulta and get IT Cosmetics Bye Bye Undereye.  It’s thick, but in a tube.  so, you squirt it on the back of your hand to warm it up with your fingers (really smoosh it around a lot) and then use a beauty blender to sponge it on.  it covers everything.   I’ve used it for black eyes myself, and know how tender they are.  Good luck and hope you heal fast!

Hey Velveteen! I have a pot of Dermablend,I’m thinking to use it I’d need to run the hairdryer over it for a while,it pulls some when I use it if I don’t.I found an old gel Zorro type mask in the refridgerator door and it seems to help the swelling,but the eyeholes are tiny and you can’t walk around a house full of cats wearing it.I put on sunglasses and went to the store,people won’t look at you when you are kind of dinged up like this,or they look if they don’t think you see them.I picked some stuff for bruises at the local store three initials sell vitamins hint hint,and the clerk looked like Jason Momoa(oh if I was 30 years younger and single!).

Dermablend Professional Cover Cream.  I comes in a lot of shades and will cover bruises.
