Tweak-d tribal chocolate head to toe collection
I have been hearing a lot of buzz feed about Tweak-d products. Happen to catch this presentation of a new product . There were so many different choices I just didn’t know what to pick. Item 088–668 also came with a face cream which I don’t need . I have tangled, fine dry aging hair . I read up on all the products that they’re offering and it seems maybe the green bottle of 5 in one for $29 would be what I need . It’s $10 cheaper and had lots of good reviews hundreds in fact, but but then there was over 70 bad reviews. is there anyone still up this late that has tried this that has fun hair that could use body, and shine to the hair. Can you recommend this product ? It’s just too expensive to get the wrong thing . I still have 23 hours to cancel the 088.668 and try another one of their products. I did order their hairspray quality is on sale because it’s sold out the last time I tried to order it . This is a whole new concept by putting it on dry and adding water later . I’m trying to separate the hype from the reality. Help if anybody is still awake this late at night . I don’t want to make a $39 mistake when another product is better that they have because I really don’t care about getting the face cream which comes with 088–668 . I hope KimmieQueen and Faire
Are still up or anyone else that might be familiar with this product. Thank you sassy

Very little response back from customers so I canceled while I had the chance. To expensive not to like it.

? Sorry I wasn’t on last night to see your question. The one you picked, the chocolate is my favorite. It gives good lather once you add water to it, it smells like yummy chocolate & best of all it doesn’t make my hair lay flat and limp like the ones in the can do. I have purchased those but I have fine textured hair but it is thick & the ones in the can make my hair lay limp & dirty looking, we all have different hair types & this is how it works for me. Great bonus to get the face cream with it!!! I haven’t tried that yet. BTW- I love your hair cut! It looks stunning on you. Yesterday, I used my Tweak-d. I put it on first & while it was sinking in (since hubby wasn’t home) I put on my Peter Thomas Roth black clay mask while the Tweak-d chocolate was working its wonders & watched some TV (what a nice lazy day!) & then showered , worked the water in & took my shower & just put a little volumizer in the top of my hair before blow drying & it came out soft & fresh!!!! Good luck if you try it and please let me know how you like it 🙂

I am intrigued by the concept. I really liked his Ojon Tawaka conditioner which is no longer available. I have no intentions of ever using the face and body cream on my face, but I’ll use it on my body. I have always liked The Body Shop’s Nut Body Butter which also has a chocolate fragrance. This product doesn’t look to be as thick as a body butter, which often means it doesn’t have the staying power, but we’ll see.

? you brought back a memory…a good one…Ojon!
How I loved Ojon too. Not too many people speak of that brand and when you mentioned it, it was a AHA moment for me. I loved and I miss the conditioning salve. The one that smelt like chocolate, and then when you rubbed it together it like liquidize to a oil base. What a CONDITIONER it was!!!! It made my hair smell so good and condition at the same time. Use to pack that on my hair and then lay out by the pool with the hot sun absorbing the oil/conditioner in my hair. Afterwards would wash and condition my hair and it was so healthy, beautiful, manageable and smelt good. DENNIS BRING THIS PRODUCT BACK! I have never used Tweak-d.
-
?, Dennis can’t bring it back because he sold the Ojon brand to Estee Lauder. The brand is still out there although I don’t know if that particular product is still in the line. I know the Tawaka isn’t because it was discontinued before he sold the Ojon brand.

Hi ?,
Sorry to get back to you so late. I use the Tribal Chocolate and Above the Clouds. It’s part of the Tweak-d “Rare Treasures” along with Peaches and Cream and is not always available so I have it on Auto Ship.
I have baby fine stick straight hair to my shoulders. My hair was dry, split, frizzy, breaking, thinning, falling out and I was freaking out.
I do dye my gray roots only but am way too lazy to style it everyday, maybe twice a week, so using all those heat tools and products wasn’t the issue.
I started with the Rare Treasures Chocolate and immediately the breaking stopped, my hair had bounce, shine, and softness like when I was younger.
Now it’s been 6 months and my hair has grown, is much healthier, has lots of shine, no frizz from breakage and splits. My hair isn’t a tangled mess to brush through like it was when I was using a regular shampoo AND always a conditioner.
I was using a volumizing mousse (Sally Hershberger, very $$$) on damp towel dried hair for some extra lift but ran out and to my amazement my hair looks and acts better without any product on it!
It’s like 1 product does it all so you save time and $$$$$ (I saw your concern about the prices). Think about everything else you have to buy for your hair routine and you’ll save money just using this.
I did try the Restore and didn’t like it at all, for one it made my hair color fade and was too thick and heavy (greasy). I’m so sold on the Rare Treasures that I’m not even going to try anything else.
Be sure to follow the instructions. Your hair may seem “too smooth” after you rinse as if you used a gallon of conditioner and you will wonder if it’s really clean. After you rinse do the squeaky hair test, when you touch / rub your hair and it squeaks. It will squeak! Hope this helped a little.
PS. Sometimes I wash my face with Tribal Chocolate and have even washed my dog. Let the product run down your body while rinsing and give it a light once over like a body wash is also recommended.

Wow Tamric- Great answer . Your description of your hair before using Tweaked sounds like my hair now, frrizzing and tangles. darn I wish I had not canceled it now. So glad you told me which one to avoid in which one works for you . Thank you so much . Sassy

Thank you Gise. I’ll go check online right now and see if I can still order it . thank you
-
? your right! I just said that to bring it back…lol.
Dennis can’t….he did sell after he and his wife divorced. I had read a while back about it. Didn’t know that Estee Lauder bought it thou. When it was around I should of bought 20 of those conditioners. It was a little pricey…but worth it! By chance I ever come across it again…..IT’S ON!!!!! GONNA BUY!!!!

I received the Tribal Chocolate Rejuvenating Face & Body Creme, and it is extraordinary. I don’t plan
on using it on my face, but I love it on my body. It smells like the Tribal Chocolate Self-Cleansing Hair Treatment and just melts into my skin. A little goes a long way, and it is extremely moisturizing wo being greasy.

I came back to review my Tweak-d Restore Cleansing Hair Treatment 3-piece Holiday Set which included “Amla,” “Murumuru,” and “Dhatelo.”
I asked my hair stylist what type of hair I have, and she said it’s fine but coarse. I just assumed it was thick bc it has so much natural volume.
Anyways, from my experience, Amla is the most lightweight, Murumuru is in the middle, and Dhatelo is the heaviest. I believe Dhatelo is the original Restore. All of them are more moisturizing than the Tribal Chocolate. I like Amla the best for deep conditioning my hair type. I’m so glad Tweak-d came out w more options so that we can customize. I like their Foam Cleansing Treatments for every day.
