I used to get Vitamin C facials some ears back at a high end skin spa. The results were wonderful! As far as a Vitamin C serum I recommend “skinceuticals”. A bit pricey but great product!:womanvery-happy:

Yes I do use Vitamin C treatments. I have heard about skinceuticals and I will check
this line out:smileyhappy:

I have been looking for Vitamin C in an opaque airless pump like this, bc I want my product to remain stable. Have u ever bought one in a bottle w a dropper and noticed that w time your serum went from clear to dark orange due to oxidation?
It is highly recommended that skin over age 40 use Vitamin C. I have been using Vitamin C since I was 19 and don’t think anyone should wait until 40 to start. When I began in the industry, I was taught that only Vitamin C in its pure, less stable, more irritating form of L-Ascorbic Acid (AA) could promote collagen.
That was before we learned more about Magnesium Ascorbyl Phosphate (MAP), the main ingredient in BBS DM Plus Serum. It is lighweight, non-greasy, free of fragrance, and does not tingle the way a highly acidic, exfoliating formula of Vitamin C would. This is a great choice for sensitive skin.
MAP:
– Derivative of Vitamin C
– Stable, neutral pH
– Antioxidant*
– Boosts collagen synthesis
– Increases hydration level
– Improves the look of an uneven skin tone
– Increases suppleness
– Penetrates deep layers
– Water-soluble
– Non-irritating
– Calming
*Reduces oxidative stress by neutralizing free radicals to stop attack on cells
It is good to see that MAP is the 2nd ingredient and is followed by other beneficial ingredients.
Beauty Bioscience DM Plus Serum:
Aqua (Water), Magnesium Ascorbyl Phosphate, Glycerin, Urea, Hydroxyethylcellulose, Arctostaphylos Uva Ursi Leaf Extract, Malva Sylvestris (Mallow) Flower/Leaf/Stem Extract, Mentha Piperita (Peppermint) Leaf Extract, Primula Veris Extract, Alchemilla Vulgaris Extract, Veronica Officinalis Extract, Melissa Officinalis Leaf Extract, Achillea Millefolium Extract, Alcohol, 1,2-Hexandiol, Caprylyl Glycol, Tropolone.
Available in 1 oz. or 2 oz.

I used Avon’s vitamin C serum, probably no more than 2 bottles. I don’t remember exactly when. The first I might have been in my 40s, the other in my 50s. I also tried Paula’s Choice Resist C15 a few years ago when it first came out. I can’t say that I saw any reason to continue using a vitamin C product.

I started sometime in my 20s. I like Ole Hendrikson oil. works really well with argan oil for me. my skin is so happy to be back to oils instead of retinol!

Serious Skincare C Power – I could not live without this product. I have tried just about every other skincare potion and lotion in the book, most at much higher price points, but always come back to this one. I add the C Restore night cream when I need the moisture, and this tandem combo can’t be beat. (At least on my skin.)

The only vitamin C I use is Adrienne’s Signature Club and I know not everybody likes her. I probably need vitamin C since I’ve been on this diet almost a year and haven’t had one piece of fruit in all that time. But then maybe I’m talking apples and oranges (pun pun) and eating fruit has nothing to do with putting vitamin c on your face.
