Simply Straight Ceramic Hair Straightening Styling Brush

DO NOT BUY if you have type 4 hair. The ethnic model on the presentation has type 3c hair, and it is mixed hair, not true pure African texture hair. Trust me, the brush is not like a curved hotcomb or flat iron made to straighten roots. Save yourself the effor of returning this item. If you look at old videos of this item, they showed it on a type 4c hair model and the roots were puffy. If you have hair like Mariah or Meghan Markle, it will work becaus ethe curl patter is a curl and not a wirey kink. 

As someone who has that type of hair and didn’t go tot beauty school, if you knw how to brush it correctly, it is not difficult to do and it does not break. Beauty school doesn’t address the isssues your Mom and aunties, and sisters can teach you. What is more offensive is that they call the hair “course and unruly.” This type of hair is not course but very soft and not something savage that needs to be “tamed.” The other thing is that the  mixed African American model has mixed texture hair, like a 3C texture that is similar to a lot of hispanics and Jewish people’s hair.  My friend who has 4c  true African hair could not uese this item because it doesn’t get close enough to straighten the roots. The model is not an accurrate exammple of true African kinky hair.  Do not buy if you have kinky roots like type 4 or more.

This manufacturer is trying to make a buck and sell to black women who will end up returning it anyway.

As someone who went through cosmetology (Beauty School) I tend to agree with the host – untreated (natural, unrelaxed) AF hair can be difficult to brush through because it is so curly and easily broken if you are not careful. How is she out of line?
