I like for posts to be relaxing and provide personal experiences with products.  I do not understand why people want to be hateful in their comments.  This is what will ruin community sharing. 

So my comment:  I’m 68 and find that serums and creams do more to help my skin than anything at this time in my life.  Vit C and Retinol seem to do the best for me in fighting dry skin and wrinkles followed by a cream moisturizer.  I mix and match a lot trying to use up products that I have left over so I’m not buying right now.  I made myself a promise not to buy until I have used them all.  And, now that I am retired I cannot spend as much $$ as before. 

I use such  a wide range of different brands but I have returned to her no transfer sticks the last month..I use the foundation in it,then I use Mally’s blush and mascara.I use the no transfer blush as a contour  below the Mally Blush,plus I use it as my eyeshadow.Add in Skinn’s lip products and my face is done in no time…I get compliments so I hope I  continue to like it.:womanwink:

I think the key to any good makeup routine is making sure you use a sponge to apply and make sure it is all blended well.

I have found that Josies Argan Oil and CeraVe cream are a terrific  combo for my very dry arms and neck.I use SCA argan capsules on the ends of my hair if they get dry.

I seldom watch presentations on TV but I hope for those that do,that she will start showing the demos like she used to.:womanhappy:

The accusations about me in this discussion are uncalled for. First, I would like to apologize again for mentioning that another member advised me not to use SCA. I now understand that comment was not for me to share, which is why I removed it.

SCA may not be my personal choice in skincare right now, but I hear good things from members here who use it and love their results. As one member stated, being blunt hurts ppl’s feelings, and I don’t want to hurt any of u. I don’t want to feel like I have to tiptoe around anyone either.

I’ve always been honest and outspoken. Does that really make me tacky and unemployable, as one member inferred? I have never been fired in my life. I don’t consider the Community a workplace; I consider it a social place. Let’s have fun here. :smileyhappy:

C AND THE  AGE RESET . SERIOUS SKIN CARE VITAMIN C CREAM WITH SPF . ALSO LOVE  SCA.  LIP PLUMPER CAPSULES . Why does it feel so 80’s?

SCA makes me feel like we’re back in the 1980s.

There must be a reason why she’s doing this…. I sincerely hope it’s not something “suggested” to her, you know?

I saw plenty of demos tonight, I didn’t catch yesterday’s shows. I love her products, I have only been using about two years.

I use to order from Adrian before she stop offering items for all of HSN customers regardless of skin tone . I own every book she wrote . I use to swear by her No Transfer foundation sticks & Lipsticks .

She needs to tell us which color foundation, (fair, light or medium), she is applying on the models so we have a better idea of which color to order. She never does this and that is such a rookie mistake. She has been in the business long enough to realize that it would help consumers to colormatch when she elaborates more on color selection , instead of skipping it. It leaves us all in the dark on what color, fair or medium, to order. I have read alot of comments on how fair is too dark for some people and medium really too dark.

Stop using SC & go to EVINE Live & buy Skinn products like I do now.  They are the best you can buy for the price.  And of course best of all they work without all the fancy jars & such.  Demitri James is the inventor & distribitor of his products.  He is on EVINE almost every month & describes & deminstrates all his products.  I’ve switched about 2 yrs now & my skin has never looked so good.  I’m 65 & strangers think I’m in my late 40s.  Try it  & you will never go  back!

True.She is supposed to be an expert and makes up the stars. Give us tips about appying  makeup, and explain what to do about certain complexion flaws. When she is making up her models, she is in such a hurry that a lot of times she is just throwing product on the model’s face and not telling us anything. I had ordered one of her kits a couple of years ago and the directions on the bottles were so tiny and light that I couldn’t read them even with my glasses on. Just thought I would throw that in there, too. This last kit I ordered was better. I do want to know why her serums and creams improve our skin but she doesn’t have to show us pictures of trees, etc. The one thing I have learned from her “accidental” model is layer all the products. OH, and warn us about the shelf life. It’s better to buy one kit at a time and use it before buying another one.
