Signature Club A, Vitamin C Day Moisturizing cream has unpleasant odor!

Has anyone else noticed the strange smell of this daytime cream? I bought this set during the Holidays when it was on a two for one special.

I just opened the jar and it smells rancid, It is also very pale in color, it used to be a more creamy yellow. I checked the expiration date and it is good.

I just wonder if in the reformulation it developed a strange odor. I have been using this product for many years and this is not good.

I hope for some feedback from others before I call customer sevice. Thanks
