The shelf life should be at least a year or two. U should contact SCA for the correct answer. Look for a code w letters and/or numbers stamped on the container – that is how dates are marked on skincare. U would have to speak to someone at SCA to decode it.

Welcome to the forums Jad5579!  I believe you are referring to the SCA 5 Essentials cream.   It will be fine unopened for 3 years and opened for a year.  

I just received the 5 Essentials uplifting serum.  This is the first time I have purchased it.  I opened it today and it smells rancid.  Is this the normal odor for this serum?  Thanks for your input.

 I’ve had two of her Double Hyaluronic An Ounce of Gold Volumizing Day Cream go bad on me. I guess I bought too many kits that were on sale, but it took me less than a year to get around to them. They were the consistancy of wax. I tried mixing them with other creams and even as a last resort, microwaving them. I had to throw them in the garbage because they just wouldn’t absorb into the skin. Just waxy. Now I know better than to order too much at once. I’ve never had very many beauty products at one time until I got . . . mature. Live and learn.
