Question on: 475-313 Beauty Bioscience GloPRO Beauty Facial Tool
Did anyone catch the length on the needles on the roller? I read all the information but cannot find the measurement. Please read up on “Derma-rolling” before using this tool. If the needle length is more than .25 it should not be used everyday. If 0.5 or longer it should be used “maybe” once a week or even just once a month. Also you need to be very very careful with using this on your neck area. If you don’t roll this right you could do major damage to you skin. PLEASE google “derma-rolling” and read about it. I hope that the vendor for this product will spend more time on preparing the skin before using and how the tool needs to be sterilized before and after each use. So much to learn about this.

Hi Wild Dietta!
Thanks for taking time to comment! Yes, we have been doing microneedling for over a decade in the medical space and now that our patent was issued, we have launched GloPRO in the retail space. You are exactly right! Thanks for taking the time to research and share. Our needle length is .3 mm. We recommend that you use 2-3 per week. You can work your way up to daily use (I like to use daily if I have a big event upcoming), but as the instructions state I would begin with 2-3x week. We recommend anything .5 or longer be administered under medical supervision as you are entering the dermis.
There are several knock off IP-infringing tools that have launched over the last couple of years. Do not be fooled, our patent protects very specific aspects of this technology, and GloPRO is the best in the microneedling space. I’m happy to send you the link to our patent or you can reference in the last post I made in the most recent thread.
Let me know if you have any other questions!
Jamie

Looking at this roller, it looks like a 540 needle roller that may be .025mm long, and it does not state if it is Stainless steel or Titanium which is less sterile. HSN is not really including specs for this tool, but you want us to pay $169.00 for it. Similar tools can be had for $10.00 without the light on Amazon.

Still no mention this time of the needle length.
-
HSN could you have them address the needle size on the GloPRO Beauty Facial Tool Thanks so much

If the needles are less than 0.5 they will not penetrate deep enough to help produce collagen. It takes at least 30 days for cell turn over. A shorter needle will help with you skin care products to absorb better. You need to do your research on what products you use when using a derma-roller. A derma-roller should not be used everyday. Do your research before using…….

R any of y’all getting good results w the GloPRO? I’m gonna miss the Beauty Bioscience show tonight 🙁 .

I see that Beauty Biosciences Skin Care is on tonight at 8:00 PST I hope they will address the length of the needles on their “derma-roller” I could not find any thing on this anywhere.

Actually, the FDA has cracked down on the dermarollers with the longer needles, considering them a certain class of medical device. The reason is the longer needles may harm the skin and nerves. This happened in 2015. After I found that out, I purchased a dermal electric pen from a certain website where you can buy almost anything, beause dermal pens were not being sold any more. Longer needled dermarollers are not supposed to be sold any longer, but they still are, on other websites. I tried the dermal pen 2 times, both times I put numbing cream on my face. It had nine needles in it ranging from .33 to 1.75 and it had adjustments for each different length of needle. It still hurt and didn’t do much so I have a pen sitting in my closet collecting dust. I am sure the Beauty Bioscience GloPro Facial Tool has to abide by FDA guidelines instilled in 2015. Only shorter needles may be sold. To me, microneedling hurts with the larger needles, and I am sure the larger needles caused damage to some people. I think that the .33 needle is the largest the FDA will allowed to be sold anymore. The needles on the Beauty Bioscience GloPro Facial Tool seem to be a wee bit smaller than the .33 needles.

I saw similar devices demonstrated on You Tube.
One demo’s face and neck was quite pink and blotchy after using it ‘tho she said it would
go away in a few hours. The other demo I saw was scary, she either had pretty bad skin
to begin with red, scarred & discolored, but still while she used it and quite aggressively
it became worse and I can’t imagine that would go away in a few hours.
I’ve been curious about micro-needling, wanting to try it but I think a lot more 1st hand
info on this is needed.
It would be great if those in the community who use this would give us a comprehensive post.
Remember the posts some of us wrote on the Contours Rx Lids by Design? They were pretty imformative I thought.

Hmm- I usually am on to new beauty tools & I haven’t heard of this one until I just saw this post today. I am going to check it out. Please let us know if any of you have bought it and how it is working for you, thank you 🙂

They did not give a length and it is not included in product information. I also researched it and found the same information you did. Also this is not sold out everywhere it is at Neiman Marcus for 199 with a serum. I googled it when it was on air. So this is a no go for that price! Dermaroller is a much better deal smh.
