What Color Shoe with Dark Navy Evening Gown?

Excellent taste in both!! But for a wedding and since you are mother of the groom, the silver is dressier and and more wedding attire. Unless you don’t think You’d ever wear the shoes again and if you feel the navy would be worn more often.

Stunning dress – and shoes! I’d go with the silver shoes and pair them with a classy white gold/silver bangle and earrings. Beautiful! :heart:

either of them would look awesome! However as a rule, you want your show to match the hem, so if I had to pick I would say the navy. old school rule always falls into place if I am unsure! lol

Personally, I would purchase navy for the day of the wedding, and for the evening, dancing with those lovely silver and bring the silver dangling earrings out with that beautiful gown. First of all that gown is STUNNING!!!!! And congratulations to the Bride and Groom.

I would wear the silver, a touch of bling peeking out from under the gown would be gorgeous.

And with the neck on the gown, no necklace. Let the lace speak for itself. I totally agree with Karebair. But a earring that is just as stunning as the gown, simple but stunning, with a little bling to go with the shoes!

    Hi Maria, welcome to HSN!  I would personally go with the silver sandals, unless you want more focus on your gown, which is GORGEOUS by the way!  Tone on tone would blend in more, but the silver would look beautiful against the navy.

    The following photos aren’t perfect examples, but you’ll get the idea of which color combination you prefer….  May I also recommend a small matching handbag to whichever color shoe you choose (for those tissues you’ll be needing!), and keep the jewelry relatively simple and classy, either pearl earrings or a silver dangle, no necklace to detract from the beautiful lace.

    Most importantly…. MANY BLESSINGS to your son and his bride, and I hope you all have a great time!!

Pretty shoes!  Since you are wearing a long gown, I would go with the silver as they are a little dressier but still a neutral.
