Josie Moran VS Adrienne
I was watching QVC’s beauty awards last night and saw that Josie Moran won for her Argan Oil. Have any of you tried it and how does it compare to Adrrenne’s? If you were watching, were there any products you found yourself thinking HSN’s product by ___________ is better than their’s?

I use Josie Moran’s Whipped Argan Oil, and I love it! I use the unscented. I also use the one for the face. I also like the Argan Oil and use it on my hair.

I so wanted to love Josie’s produts but I have asthma and chemical sensitivities and if I use her products on my face or neck,in just a few minutes,I cannot breathe. So that did not work out.:womanfrustrated:
So I have several of her argan oil products that I use on my hands and arms, just a small amount at a time..
.For my face and neck,I use SCA.,plus I love it for the ends of my hair when they get dry.:womanhappy:

OK, I am officially in the poor house! I should look good in the poor house, though, with all the facial and body products I bought at y’all’s recommendation (there I go sounding country again). I got Josie’s milk product in yesterday and I have to say it feels greasy to me when I first put it on. I’ve been involved in a convention here so I haven’t had a chance to really sit down and evaluate it properly. After it is on awhile, that greasy feeling does go away. Just don’t put it on and immediately handle clothing or things you don’t want to mess up. That’s my experience anyway.

Pamlou, I beginning to think “we” have a thing going on here. You seem to post a question at exactly the same time I need the same answer! How funny is that? lol
I was searching through threads because I was trying to find a product Kemi had suggested and I wrote it down but lost the paper. I started reading your thread, and there is Kemi’s response about Acure.
I have been using Josie’s Argon Oil for some time. I started a 3 month Retinal program not quite 2 months ago. My skin is normally dry and the Retinal turned me into looking like a half peeled onion. Flaking everywhere. I am using some other products as well, but still using Josie’s Argon Oil. It works great to put a few drops on a clean washcloth and scrub off that dead skin.
I don’t care Adrienne’s products, mainly because she sells these amazing kits that I feel I need a road map to remember what to wear, when and how often, etc. I just don’t feel like taking the time to do all that stuff. I just want 2 or 3 products, something for night time and something for daytime. I like things easy.
I will not be ordering anymore Josie even though I think it’s been a good product for me since Kemi has informed us of Acure. She says it is the same thing and at a much reduced price and that too is very important to me. I feel Kemi is the pro at these things and have come to rely on her knowledge of knowing what is in a product – good or bad! Now that I found the info again, I will be becoming an Acure girl!

YES! Josie Maran’s products are great! I have tried Adrienne’s and Josie’s are better. Much better quality. Her cleanser is amazing, and so is the MILK product. And she has a Honey products for dry skin that I use on my elbows. The creamy oil is amazing too!

you will love the body butter. when I travel, I take 3 things: Josie Maran travel size oil, butter and cleanser. I use the cleanser for body, shaving and shampoo. The oil to scrunch in my hair and for body, and the butter as face cream, eye cream, everything cream. I have even used it in my hair. a little goes a long way. I use the body butter more than the oil on reguar basis. I live in a really dry climate all year long. I always buy the supersize tubs of the body butter. Once I accidentally ordered the lavender citrus instead of unscented and I LOOOOOOVE it, especially before bed. If you are only going to use this on your face, it will last forever… I use it from head to toe and it still lasts a reallly long time. Adrienne’s stuff doesn’t even come close, it has a whole buch of other stuff in it. And I have tried other brands and many of them smell weird… I still buy josie and if I want to do like a deep oil treament in my hair, I use the other brands of oil because its cheaper. Oil is great for removing eye makeup too. I use a lot of Josie Maran products and love them all. 🙂

Josie Moran is 100% cold pressed Argan Oil. I have purchased it and have it on hand. Adriennes is not 100% Argan Oil. Her product has Dimethicone in it which does not penetrate into the skin, it just lays on the surface & makes the skin feel smooth. Yes, Josie’s is expensive. You can also buy Argan oil here on HSN by Providence or you can also buy in health food stores. It would be less expensive just be sure it is 100% Argan Oil as some companies add alot of fillers.

I bought Josie’s argan oil in a TSV a couple of years ago and have yet to use it all up. The whipped body butter is divine, and I add the oil to my hair products (Wen cleansing conditioner and/or an anti-frizz cream) after shampooing as a leave-in. I find that coconut oil that is $6 for a jar is just as good as the expensive argan oil. I haven’t tried Adrienne’s argan oil. I don’t care if there are fillers as long as it moisturizers effectively.
I got a color wheel with anchorwoman blue years ago and found it was good with under-eye darkness. I’ll have to look for that again.

Pamlou, I’ve used Josie’s Argan Oil for a few years now and still do. It saved my skin and my hair. I do not use a lot. This product costs – so I get it when there is special pricing. I may buy a bottle once a year and mix it with other products for both skin and hair and use it at night.

I bit the bullet and ordered Josie’s whipped body butter before anybody posted answers here. It is the19 oz size that they offered because of her award. Josie claimed you could use it on your face and body. I swear, I never thought I would be one of those women who paid these $$ on face and body creams. I still have Adrienne’s Argan Oil facial products so I should be able to compare the two products. Thank you for all of your answers.

Kmdane, I totally agree with you. Adrienne was talking about argan oil 2-3 YEARS before anyone else had heard of it. I’ve tried Josie’s products as well but ironically, the smell of her thick argan oil creams (I tried 2 different scents) made me sick. She’s too expensive too. I’m happy with Adrienne’s product and value but I appreciate the new info on Acure. Thank you for sharing.

I have used both Josie and Adrienne’s argan oil. For me Adrienne wins hands down. Remember she has been in the business of skin care for many years. Knows her stuff and stands behind them.

Pamlou, I have used both as well. I love Josie’s consealer, and tinted moisturizer and those are products I will reorder. I have tried the Mascara and liked it for basic daily wear not a night out, the Milk and exfoliator. I spilled my Argan oil bottle while trying to mix it with the exfoliator and lost about half of it. However, the exfoliator is good and while not my main exfoliator, has the benefit of adding the Argan oil so it leaves your skin very hydrated. Saw the Nirvana mist and do want to try that also.
Sig A’s Argan kits hydrate well. Maybe it just depends on the fillers and your comfort level with them. There is a Moroccan Argan eye oil that somehow caused an eye stye and more than once so I wont use it. I did like the firming serum a lot and the capsules. The kits are good for the cool and cold weather seasons.
Kemiqueen, the Acure is new to me and thanks for letting us know about it.
I have also found Argan at TJ M_a_x if you want to try a few items out first.

If you have the money to spend on a product why not make it work for you. Argan Oil is precious so you will spend more but it is worth it.
