Victoria wieck vermeil jewelry
She is one of my favorite jewelry designers!!! she offers many items in both vermeil as well as sterling silver. I purchased a ring set in vermeil, last summer, in her presentation she said it would last 10 yrs. it did not. the gold vermeil started wearing thin when I wore it every day. So I backed off to wearing the ring only for strictly " pretty on display" outings. Not to live in. Has anyone had better experience then I? I really like the look of gold cus I think it makes the absolute jewelry piece look more believable But I think she needs to re formulate the technique of her vermeil. Thank you

I have an extensive "collection" of Victoria’s jewelry and have collected it for several years. I would like to say that I wear it like my 14kt and I have never had any problem with the vermeil wearing off, being too thin, tarnishing or anything. From rings, to earrings and I wear the daylights out of it. I love her pieces, the designs are wonderful, the stones are wonderful in size and color and I have given her things as gifts as well. Everyone is always WOW’d at her things when I wear them.
I am so sorry that people have trouble with her items. But it doesn’t stop me from buying them as I never have trouble with them.
Pinklyfe I am a gold wearer too. I hope that this won’t stop you from trying the vermeil again.
And tecnogrl, I hope that HSN is able to help you with that lost stone…I would be heart sick! Good luck!

What a bummer, the ring only lasted as long as the payments. Does she have any sort of guarantee ? I would check that out.

I purchased a Victoria Wieck Absolute Vermeil ring back in March. I wore it only when going out to dinner or the movies on the weekends. It was absolutely gorgeous and one of my favorite rings I have ever purchased from her. I wore it last weekend and when I got home I realized the stone had fallen out somewhere. It just made me sick. I had just made my last flex pay too. I’ve always been careful to never get my jewelry wet, never wear it when I wash my hands. I am very careful with all my jewelry. This is the first time this has happened to me with any piece of jewelry. Now I’m leary to buy anything from the VW line again.
