Games not loading
I’ve been unable to load Klondike Solitaire Gold for about 3 days now. I tried the usual fixes and nothing so far. What’s up? The only game I can play is Backgammon.

I have not been able to load any game for about three weeks now, I also tried the fixes recommended but nothing works. I agree, what’s up HSN. I cannot play any games.

Thanks for the reply bebop96. Although Internet Explorer is recommended by a lot of people. I myself do not like the slow response from IE. With II there could be numerous issues at hand, far too many to post here. Also, some versions of Adobe are not quite right yet either. Just to give you an example, I can not run Adobe version on my computer for the arcade games. I still use version 10.3 and I have had no problems what so ever with these games or any website I visit that requires Adobe Flash Player. If I run with version 11.3, everything runs so slow.
Your problem could be in your computer setting a bad download, a bad update. Everybody’s computer is different, so it’s really hard to say exactly what could be causing your problems. Computers are like shoes, they may look the same but they wear different.
I would like you to try this and see what you think of it. I recommended this to several players and so far I have not had any drawbacks from it.
Try downloading a new browser. Firefox is much faster than IE. Yes, you can have more than one browser on your computer. Takes just a couple minutes to download. Once you have it downloaded onto your computer, using the Firefox browser, go to the HSN website arcade. There it will tell you that you need Adobe Firefox to view the contents, etc etc. This is normal since there are different versions of Adobe Firefox for each different type browser, (IE Adobe will not work for Firefox and vice-versa). Click on the Adobe link in the area of where the streaming video normally would be, you may see this Adobe download link. Usually it is mostly all red lettering.
Adobe will automatically detect what browser you are using. Download this Flash Player and do the usual that they ask.
Once this is done, try playing your games and see what happens.
If this fails for you, which for some reason I wouldn’t know why it wouldn’t, you can always uninstall the Firefox and Adobe downloads.
I am on the 52 Card Club thread constantly, so if you have any problems or immediate questions, feel free to post them there. I can respond sooner for you.
Also if you do install the Firefox browser, your usual homepage will be there so everything will look normal for you.
To me, it’s a faster browser. You may like it better than IE once you give it a try, but like I said if not, you can always uninstall it.
Good luck and let me know how this works for you should you try it. -
Thank you for your response. I cleared cookies and cache and I have the latest version of Adobe 11. I use Internet Explorer and my operating system is Windows 7. Although I am not a computer genius I can usually follow directions and figure things out. Any help would be appreciated.

Hi bebop96. Sorry to hear your having problems with the games.
Can you tell me what usual fixes you have done? Have you cleared cookies and cache? Cleared history?
What version of Adobe Flash Player do you have?
Could be a number of things that could be causing your problem.
If you can tell us more, maybe myself or someone else can help you. Also, what browser (Internet Explorer, Firefox, Chrome etc) are you using?
