American Tourister Star Wars R2D2 28" Luggage Quandry

A family member purchased the 21" suitcase for my grandson in September and we put it away until Christmas.  A few days before Christmas I purchased the matching 28" version.  Both were described as matte aluminum.  The smaller one is matte aluminum but the larger one is glossy aluminun.  They are visibly different. 

I’m not sure if it’s a shipping error or if all the 28" are glossy aluminum but say that they are matte.  The description photo shows a glossy suitcase.  Does anyone have this same piece of luggage and is it matte or glossy?  I’m not sure whether to return the 28" or to send it back for exchange.  I don’t want to return it twice.  It’s a rather large box and cumbersome to take to UPS or USPS.  There are only a few left so I need to decide rather quickly. 

My grandson wants to keep the glossy one of course but I’d rather that both pieces match.  It’s too late to return the matte smaller one and they are sold out.
