Cricut Explore
I am totally upset by my purchase of this machine. I purchased it, at launch 2014) with the understanding that my computer met the minimum system requirements at the time of purchase. This company has now increased the system requirements twice in one year and I can no longer use my Vista computer with their software. They force me to upgrade the software and then I can no longer use my Vista computer with it. I do not know if they can legally do this and I will be checking into it. I bought this machine and I should be able to use it for the life of the machine with the computer I bought it for. This was a contract between HSN, ProvoCraft and myself, with consideration ($$$) and now I can no longer use it because the system requirements have changed. Nowhere on HSN site or ProvoCraft site or the box have a warning that the system requirements might change. I really do believe this is illegal and is running afoul of Consumer Protection Laws.

Totally agree its a cruddy thing to do, but Windows Vista is one of the worst operating systems in Windows history. They’re doing you a favor by forcing you to upgrade.

PRGypay,
Glad you posted this information. I was thinking about purchasing the cricut explorer or the Brother scan and cut. I can scratch the explorer off my list now.
