Alcatel POP Tracfone Photo Problem
Appreciate some guidance. I have tried to take photos with my new phone and then message them to my AOL email account. I like to do this so that I can capture and save the photo to my workplace computer hard drive (then I can send, print, etc.) But when I open my Alcatel phone message email (while logged on to AOL) the photo is never there. I see an attachment clip, but the email says it is a multimedia message service video and I need to download an application to view it. Can this be right? I never had this problem with my LG tracfone. Do my photos HAVE to be MMS? Do I have an alternative or workaround? Do I need to adjust some settings on my phone? Thanks.

Thanks everyone! I tried the email method and it worked perfectly. I had never successfully viewed my email on my LG Tracfone because I continually received error messages about the file being too large. That was fine because that phone was so tiny, I could not see much anyway. On my new Alcatel Pop Icon, I was able to install the AOL app and then open email. Then I sent the photo. Thanks for letting me borrow your brains.

Email the photos to yourself, connect the phone to a computer, or put the photos on a photo sharing site.

CatladyinCA, make sure your data is turned on and see if that helps.

Can you email the photos to yourself instead of texting? Or can you view the attachments through a browser? How do you access your AOL at work?
