Not knowing what model you have…difficult to say. Read the manual on line and you will learn how to do a lot of things. I printed out several pages of the manual that was of interest to me.

I don’t quite understand, if your blood work from the endocrinologist is fine then why are you wanting to take additional supplements? Before spending money on stuff you probably don’t need that might mess up your normal blood levels, look at some of the other issues that might be impacting your sleep (and maybe you already have).
Are there life or work issues creating higher than usual stress? Has something changed in your sleeping routine – has your spouse started to toss and turn or snore when they didn’t before? Is your bedroom conducive to sleep? Friends of mine who had gotten older and a little less sturdy on their feet, decided they needed night lights in a few spots around the house and bathroom and then couldn’t sleep. They got rid of the night lights and started sleeping well again. Even small differences in light like that can make a difference. I moved to a newe house and with the bedroom door open could hear the refrigerator noise and that messed with my sleep. I close the door now and sleep fine. Do you have a different pet that interrupts your sleep?
Instead of supplements, you might try some of the CD’s that are available that help soothe you to sleep if that sort of thing would work for you.
Sorry didn’t mean to be so wordy.

I’ve been using Women’s Wellness for years and really like it, but it did not help with the insomnia. I found a great product that did, though. It’s called A-ma-ta and I found out about it through Dr. Christiane Northrup’s website. Within 2 weeks I was sleeping much better and now I’m on auto-delivery because I never want to be without this stuff. I am familiar with Dr. Northrup as she used to be on Oprah frequently. She has always been someone I trusted. At first I was disappointed because after 2 weeks I didn’t see any improvement, then suddently I started feeling better. I quickly reordered, but ended up being without the product for a week while waiting for my reorder to arrive. After 3 days of not taking it, the insomnia returned but then disappeared again once I got back on track. Check out the reviews on her website and give it a try.
Disclaimer: I am not associated with Dr. Northrup’s practice and am not a friend or employee. I’m just a very satisfied customer and wanted to spread the word. Best of luck!

I will give them a call. I am one that only goes to the Dr once a year, I was there 5 times last year with this issue, trust me, regular Dr’s are no help when it comes to women and perimenopause issues, they just think it’s a "way of life" and I know we don’t have to suffer, there are things out there to help us so we don’t have to suffer so badly.

Hi SandGirl, please call ProCaps directly at 800-808-7311 and ask their opinion on which products might be available for your particular needs. They are very friendly and knowledgeable about everything they offer and will be glad to help you. Also, please ask your primary provider for a recommendation. Please let us know how things go and if a particular vitamin/mineral formula works for you.
