Possum

I thought I found strange things in my house.:smileysurprised:

2 years ago..when we had that really cold winter..Somehow a baby mole got in here…It looked like for afew days…I was scared to death..We never found it..so it must have found it’s way out..

One day, a mama possum strolled across my front walk with 9 little possum hanging on all over it’s back and under belly.  That was a sight to see.  Never saw it again after that.

Funny story,when my hubby and I 1st got married,we had a cat that we fed on our front deck.1 afternoon I opened up the front door, adult possum ran in and was hissing at me.I jumped up on the table,screamed at it and tried to scare it off.I think we had a standoff of sorts.Me on the table and him on the floor..:womansurprised:

My hubby finally got in from work and after he finished laughing at me:smileylol:,he chased it all over the house before it finally went out the door…After that,I peeked out the window before I opened the door.:womanwink:

I have two that comes to my back porch nightly along with the raccoons.They are sort of cute when they are little but not so cute older.Glad you found it and got it out of the house..I love animals but sure don’t want any wild ones or snakes,other critters inside.Hope the party was a lot of fun.

Hope your son had a happy birthday.   I hope even more that you do not have anymore of the possums.     They are really nasty critters.

we have a problem with skunks i looked out my window and running was a baby skunk to my lawn.  we were woke up the other night and the smell was just horrible all through the house they just have parties here and when they get hit blocks away you can still smell it.

  Oh how cute a baby possum!    He probably wanted some b irthday cake!  Might have been his birthday too!     But hope he’s ok! 

Well, Happy Bday to your precious Son! Cherish those years. I loved having my kid’s friends over for bdays and get togethers!!!  

What a surprise that would be to find a baby opossum in your home later that night! The only time I had an opossum in my backyard was when I had chickens and ducks. It was during the day and my Chow was going crazy barking. When a Chow barks, you see what’s up. 😉 Sure enough I thought this sweet animal was dead on the fence. Nope. Just playing dead. 

I wonder if the mama of your opossum may not be alive. That’s not like a baby to be without it’s mama. Do you have an wildlife refuge near you?
