Hi to you, too, ? buddy. This is the frist year I’ve thought about separating the candies. Since the Beanie Babies ran out (I did have hundreds) I buy the treat bags and put a couple of bite size bars in with a few stickers, an eraser, a spider ring, etc. and just hand out the bags. Kids love the bags.
Another comment on the Beanie Babies. The ones that were left I took to Toys for Tots the last year. They were glad to get them because they said they don’t get alot of toys for boys and some of them the boys like, too, which I found to be true. Also, if you have teddy bears, not the small ones like the Beanie Babies, but larger soft ones, most police departments like to have them. The officers keep them in their trunks and will hand them out to kids when they come across a domestic violence situation or accident or a situation where a kid needs something comforting.

Happy Holidays, Adam! Not exactly a decoration, but the most favorite…the Holiday Treats I will be starting to make and bake next week! Just finished my shopping today…I’ll start the PROCESS NEXT WEEK, starting with 3 variations of fudge; walnut balls; biscotti; haystacks; other treats, then ending with the more delicate Christmas cookies. As I finish each item, I leave a dish out…which, I think, is the MOST FAVORITE, and the most visited (eaten), holiday ITEM/DECORATION in the entire house! Then I get it all packaged up to deliver/mail to Family/Friends, etc., and eyes will start turning to more traditional decorations…until the DELICIOUS HOLIDAYS MEALS start…then they become the most admired and favorited decorations! MY FAMILY SEEMS TO FAVORITE THE FOOD, then traditional ornaments/decorations!
Holidays are for Home and Family, and they say "HOME IS WHERE THE HEART IS"…well, IT SEEMS TO BE IN THEIR TASTE -BUDDS !
Personally…I love the beautiful twinkling of the lights and Christmas music, which keep me company while I’m cooking and remembering Christmas’ passed.
Best wishes and SAFE Holidays to all at HSN

We asked: What’s your family’s favorite holiday decoration?
You answered: My favorite Christmas decoration is a 2 foot tall cardboard Santa. He must have been bought in 1948 and I remember sitting in front of the fireplace and gazing at him for hours. Over the years he was always displayed during the holidays and I have him to this day. Some years ago my mother was going to toss him out. He was old and tattered and a little dirty from all those years of dust but I pleaded NO! Mom said “oh I only paid 10 cents for him, let’s toss it.” No I demanded. One Sunday afternoon Mom and I lovingly taped and reinforced and cared for this fragile Santa….And now I can say he proudly stands in a place of honor under my tree. Years has passed and Mom is no longer with me but that Sunday afternoon with her spent repairing this Santa has made him all the more valuable to me.Check your Private Message inbox for gift card details.

Every year my beautiful girlfriend and her daughter make the greatest gingerbread house that is always the centerpiece of our dinner table. They make it on Christmas Eve and we all devour it on Christmas night. The memories of the good times we have each year for this shortlived beautiful treat stay in our hearts forever.

I really like my pitiful Charlie Brown Christmas Tree with the one ornament on a droopy branch!
-
My fully decorated Christmas tree. Every ornament has its own story. As I put up the tree,
It’s fun to reminisce about each one as I find the perfect branch to display the magic. -
the bread dough ornaments my mom and i have been making every year since I was 5 I’m now 18. I love spending time with my mom most of all.:womanhappy:
