Velvet, that is interesting about Puffin. Definitely will give it a try once we receive the phone. I’m just wondering if other people disliked LG for the same reason as you, I would think they would have made the necessary changes. Just a thought. Now you got me really thinking. Should be an interesting week.

The only way I know how to resize a keyboard is if you download Puffin free browser.   When using Puffin, the  keyboard can be both resized and repositioned to. up to 4 locations.   I would say I use my phone 99% for Wifi and data .

If the LG is as you say, we will probably return it. We are not happy with Samsung. Tracfone is OK, since most of what we do is with WiFi and we never seem to use up our minutes. We also like their customer service when we run into problems or have questions. Guess it depends upon what you are used to.     

I don’t use Tracfones but every phone I have ever had except the Iphone,  the keyboard takes about half of the screen.  I currently have a Note 5 which has a stylus built into the phone but I really only use it for notes, drawing or if I am typing a lot.    I find LG products to be VERY slow to respond.   I also have an LG tablet which is even slower than the phone was and is much newer.   

The Samsung phone is approx. 5 or 6 years old and is a tracfone. The model #S390G.  

That’s really strange   I absolutely love Samsung and would never,  never get another LG.   The keyboard should come up as soon as you touch.   Whichey Samsung do you have? 

Velvet, the keyboard on our Samsung is part of the phone. The keys and numbers are extremely close together and if you are not careful, you can easily press either the wrong letter or number. In other words half the keyboard takes up about a quarter of the front. It is not something that automatically comes up when you need to type, like an I-pad, Kindle or another type of Android.    

What do you mean  “on the outside of the phone”?

Thanks Velvet. The keyboard on our Samsung is on the outside of the phone. It is really cumbersome when you want to do something fast. However, I think this will probably work out better. It will be our first LG phone.
