  The rule is if you have used any WE coupon in the past, you can not use another .  I was trying to use a WE  coupon with a brand new number that was  release the  first of June . 

 I got it … the WE coupons are for  one time use irreguardless of what number follows WE.

It is a WEcome coupon. 

Yep, It’s like HSN would say, don’t say we don’t offer coupons, !!!!!!

but of course, basically you can only use it on items that have full price, that’s it.

which we’ll pay more with the cuopon, then wait until it’s on clearance.

Yes, the coupons are not valid for clearance items since the price is already reduced on those items.

Mostly, I just buy clearance and missed using a few coupons for this reason.

As Trekky said below, sometimes, you have to buy that must have item at regular price and hope for the coupon. 

I didn’t know about the free shipping restriction.  I have had pretty good luck with most of my coupons and love using them.  However I do see that many of the coupons are for pretty specific items, so I wait for one that works for something on my wish list.  I do get a decent amount of coupons, but I am a card holder that spends a lot.  I also tend to purchase almost every time they send me a coupon – so if they track that stuff they probably see they make more money off me when they send them.

  Some items are worth paying the full retail if that is a super special price.  I ordered Lancome Shades of Summer Juicy Tubes 4-pc set.   # 489-337 

  They have not had these in the 4 pack for 6 months or so.  They’ve had other configurations to where it would cost $18.00-$19.00 a tube.   Hard for me to justify that price.

  I had a 20% off coupon plus it is free shipping.  No problems on taking the coupon.  This brings the price down to $6.40 a tube!

EDIT:  Guess I should also have said that I would have bought this set even without the coupon…would have been $8.00 tube…still great price!

I recieved a 20% off coupon and tryed to use it on a cosmetic item, that was not on sale nor did it have free shipping. it bounced back as invalid. Don’t understand why all the restrictions when they email you a coupon. LOL

I ordered a Heidi item today that was on SALE, not clearance or free S/H . I used a coupon saved $16 .  :smileylol:

HSN does not apply coupons on clearance purchases , as stated on all coupon details.

I really do not know  if they restrict use on free S/H purchases .

If a coupon I try to use won’t let me use it on an item because it has free shipping, then I won’t buy it. Too many restrictions. Are they restricting Sale items? Not clearance, but Sale?

ME: Please let your marketing team know that the restricted coupon policy is creating a lot of problems in the HSN Community and in my household. Almost every member in my family has an HSN acct, but not everyone receives coupons. The non-transferable select customer coupons make the unselected family members feel left out. Also, the lack of coupons available to existing customers makes me question my loyalty. Other companies offer many more coupons, as well as free shipping programs.
