HAPPY BIRTHDAY, SUZE! :womanlol: Thank you, again, for all your great advice and for taking time out of your busy schedule to reply to all of us.

If I have an older kit can I get access to the insurance info on your website using the older code or do I have to buy the latest kit

I wish I knew what to do with my late husband’s 401k. Is a fixed index annuity a good idea? I know a variable is a no-no. He’s got about 30k and I have about 30k. It’s been suggested to me to join them into a fixed index annuity account over a10-16 year term.
He died suddenly last year, incidentally a week before his 64th birthday at which I was going to give him your must-have document pkg. We don’t have any property, home or other, but I still don’t know what his plans were to invest. My 401k is currently not invested in anything, and his is in his employer’s company. My main source of income right now is a small social security check and a little insurance money, and turning 65 in 3 weeks, as you know, is when Medicare starts taking some of that check (Happy Birthday, by the way!). I’m trying to wait for 4 more years to collect his social security (which would be larger), and that would grow another 32% and triple my current income. My husband and I watched and listened often to your advice over the years, and your input would be so comforting.
I have passed on the CDs to all my family already, and purchased this latest pkg. so that those who aren’t able to use the previous pkg. (from another vendor) will get my code to access it that way.
Thank you so much for all you do–it’s an inspiration!

Suze,
You said tell me more about our situation. I am 67 and my husband is 66. He can’t get life insurance because of his diabetes. I wouldn’t have money to bury him, if he died. We have only a little more than a thousand in savings and that is for car insurance, etc. and it’s not really enough. We are not making it each month. We have no will, or the other documents we need, but he won’t do it. We are so low of money, now he’s started charging food. I am so tired of struggling. Just to buy the paper today, I got penny rolls and looked for change to have enough. It’s awful!
I am on social security and he is also. I only draw a little over 600 and it wouldn’t be much difference to get half of his.

Shopping HSN….A total addiction.
That is where I could save if I cut back on my HSN purchasing…….:cattongue:

Suze: I wish I were better at selecting investments. Here’s the irony… I am a CFP. While I have not practiced in many years (career change), I am not strong in choosing investments.
By the way, I yell “amen” every time I see you on air. I wish your books and online materials were mandatory. 🙂 When I was a practicing CFP, I was always astouned by the failing of attorneys, physicians, military leaders, and highly successful business leaders, who were clients. So many of them did not have wills, trusts, etc. Shocking really – if people only knew. So easy to get it done right with your materials.
Thank you for all you do!

Hi Suze…just wanted to let you know that the fifth question under the quiz of Lesson 2 of your Personal Finance Course regarding the most effective way to improve your credit score is not giving the correct answer common knowledge and based on your lesson). I contacted your support almost 7 weeks ago and three weeks ago to no avail.

Hello Suze,
I wish I were better at staying on top of things. I had a will and trust done by my attorney in the 90’s and desperately need to make changes. I have been putting it off. Can I use your program to redo my will and trust? Do I have to go back to my attorney? (I prefer not to). Will anything new I create make the old Will and Trust void? (I hope so)
Thank you

As a single mother who went from my well paying dream job to a sobering fixed income, I quickly learned “creative finance without the degree” Suze. (Like which bills make the most sense to pay off first). I first have to say Thank you for your generously kind, but straight forward, no nonsense information you empower SO many with.
I am excited to report this kit is my pampering splurge. I look forward to the peace of mind it will continue to create for myself, and my now adult daughter.
I need help in the credit repair department. How to effectively dispute incorrect information and any tips on how to get my score back to a strong, healthy number. The other major area is in knowing and having the property documents in place….which the kit will now help me with…thanks to you!!
You ARE a Super Hero !!
God Bless You

I wish I was better at convincing my husband to get your financial kit and get us a will. We’re both on medicare, and we are not prepared. We are not making it financially, and recently my husband started using the credit cards and now we cannot pay them off (around $3,000). We even had to use them for food. Our health is not good enough really to work, and I’m terrified. He also doesn’t have life insurance, and I would be in a bad way without him. It really scares me so much! He also has diabetes and he can’t get life insurance. I wouldn’t even have enough money to bury him, if he died.

What’s the best way to keep track? A spread sheet? Quickbooks? I would like a better over all look at our household accounts?

I wish I understood my retirement accounts and stocks better than I do. I have a lot of trust in our financial advisers and rather oblivious of our investments. I know that is a no-no. I really need to understand the process better and educate myself on our investments. I feel very vulnerable.
