THANK YOU!
I want to say THANK YOU to all those who responded to my plea for prayer last July after we lost our “baby” Sugar, my 4-legged daughter, after an “emergency” surgery. The Dr. even said that they could get in there & find that she didn’t have the infection but they had to do it or she would lose her life if she had it. After keeping her one week at the vets’ (running up $6,500.00 in bills), we brought her home & lost her just 8 hours later. We were just devistated. They said she would be just fine. I don’t believe she ever needed that surgery; they were just looking for money. Another $1,000 was the bill at our regular vet for the earlier tests & medication for a urinary track infection and then after that the cost to have her creamated, the urn, etc. We fought that bill for the $6,500 with the credit card company, but they sided with the vet because they said they couldn’t make a judgement on the “services” of a provider. Of course the vet brought in thousands of dollars a week from people who needed the credit card to pay for the costs of their pet’s care. We were just one-time users of the card. They weren’t going to cut off their major source of business. I noted everything that they did that was wrong in their care of her to no avail. I was too depressed to even go on the Community Board after we lost her. I’m just now getting back to normal things in life. Your responses, the compassion & care & prayers meant the world to me. They brought me through this. I can’t thank you all enough. God’s blessings to you. Please forgive me for the late thank you but I couldn’t even do that back then with all the crying I was doing.

, that is so sad, and so awful. I understand how you feel about your baby. Some people don’t know how we feel about our 4legged and 2 legged (birds) babies, and furry and feathered children, but they really are our children!
It takes a long time to get over the grief.
Glad you are starting to feel more like yourself.
