The pegland game
Can someone tell me the object of the pegland game. There are no instructions or suggestions. What stradgety allows one to get more points. Thanks. JoJo123

Hi, JoJo! I originally posted this back in 2013 and it took me a while to find it, but…
The simple goal on Pegland is to ‘hit’ and thus clear the PINK pegs. You get points for hitting any of the pegs, but only move on to the next level once all of the pink ones are cleared. If you become a crack shot and are able to angle your ‘ball’ where it will land in the collection bucket after making your shot, it will return to you, thus giving you an extra ball. (This is nice, as you get points for each additional ball left over after each level. And if you make the bucket shot on the very last shot after you’ve cleared the level, you get a big bonus. (5,000 points.) This really comes into play on the final level, as you keep playing however many balls you have left even after the pink pegs are cleared. If you work it right you can make multiple bucket shots on that one. I’ve scored over 50,000 points on that level alone more than once. As far as the different balls…the shredder takes out any ball in its path, but is unsinkable, as it always ‘bounces’. The little multi-ball impacts as one ball, then splits into two to bounce everywhere. The fireball scores you higher points as it ‘ignites’ everything it touches and in addition to getting the impact points from it, you get like 5 additional points for every second the pegs burn while its still knocking around. The purple pegs enlarge your collection bucket when hit, the red ones explode when hit (taking out the surrounding pegs) and the green vertigo looking ones turn your next two balls into aim-able shots. That’s about it in a nutshell, I think! Hopefully it offers some help! I agree–far too many of the games offer little or no instruction at all and can be a bear to figure out!
