How do U like to exercise?
My best purchase ever is the Slendertone Abdominal Toning Belt (421-582), bc it requires absolutely no effort. Rock hard abs at the touch of a button!
I love my new Tony Little EZ Shaper (407-296). It takes up zero room and comes w 7 DVDs. I enjoy these resistance workouts, especially the Pilates.
I got the Tony Little Gazelle (462-296) a couple of yrs ago. It is a great cardio workout and feels like ur flying. The machine is heavy and difficult for me to move by myself, though. The heart rate monitor broke soon after I started using it, so I just do wo it. I read that happened to many other ppl by reading the product reviews.
I used to be a ballerina and love to dance in my room. I like all kinds of dance. My boyfriend is so sick of listening to Justin Bieber while I dance, so he started making me wear headphones.
It has been too hot and humid this summer for me to walk my elderly English Mastiff. She has bad joints and arthritis, plus a very thick coat of fur. We r having an indoor summer. I like having her by my side whenever I work out.
HOW DO U LIKE TO EXERCISE?

I like to exercise all sorts of ways! I have a bad knee (my left knee dislocates). I usually switch things up between running, biking, swimming, pilates and yoga! It’s hard to run outdoors during the summer, but it helps me build up to go longer in the fall/winter! :smileyhappy:

Today I lifted the phone 3 times, on one call I switched hands. My next one consisted of tapping the remote from the news to HSN. I will be watching Jewelry until the news come on then I have to change exercise to something else.
-
?, let’s just see if the moderators are really reading this thing. Twerking:
First, close the blinds.
Now pretend you are twirling a hoola hoop with your hips.
Keep twirling and bend forward.
Keep twirling and bend your knees.
Keep twirling and put your hands on your knees to get some traction.
Now really TWIRL that hoola hoop faster and faster.
Now make that hoop go front to back, fast, FASTER.
If you are in a club, back into the front of your partner (he’s standing) and twirl your hoola hoop.
Advance move: Clap your cheeks (not the ones on your face)
There’s suppose to be a video of Kim K. twerking on-line today but I haven’t looked for it. Goodness knows what sort of ads I’d get after watching that.
If this disappears, it’s been nice knowing you.

Oh please, will someone tell me what TWERKING is without making me feel lame!
Great thread by the way ?!

Mom was a prima ballerina in Paris, met my father, got pregnant while dancing the lead in Giselle, that’s how I got my name, then she got married, yes, in that order.
Since the day I could walk I was in tutu’s and ballet slippers. I finally quit just after high school ’cause I was too tall to partner with and would never make it to the big time. I still walk like a duck tho and I love dancing.
The gym’s, private trainer, been there, done that. I hate to “exercise” exercise now, just
classical ballet and disco…put on Madonna’s Vogue and I’ll rock til I drop.
What I’m really interested in ? is that rock hard abs with no effort. My kind of exercise.
Does it really work or do you have to put in a little effort like strapping it on kind of effort?
-
? omg!!!! i just realized that you mentioned that song to kemi because it’s justin bieber!!!! i love that song and sing it in the car all of the time and never i knew that it was jb.!!!! how pathetic!!!! that’s how lame i am! i don’t even know when i am listening to him. …i am so old and uncool:catsad: ok now i know that i like him for his “voice”:catwink:  nik

? hi, too funny… washboard abs covered in laundry!! but it’s true about ballet and posture. you just reminded me of something kind of funny… i won a posture contest once. :cathappy: yes, the school actually had a posture contest. :catvery-happy: i was a gymnast and i am a maniac about standing and walking straight. good luck with your work out…no matter what flavor it is.
ps very cool that your son danced ballet!
-
My youngest son was a ballet dancer for five years when he was in his teens. He’s almost 50 now and the thing I’ve noticed in him and other people who danced ballet when they were young is that they never seem to lose their great posture. Maybe they should offer that as a gym alternate in schools.
I am taking notes on the exercise tips, all kidding aside.
-
? mix!!! too funny! the tea and cookie workout!!
-
Right hand now, lift that cookie, two three, come on, you can do it. Left hand, lift that tea, two three, feel the burn. OK, relax, shake it off.
