Replacement filter #’s for Hunter Eco-Silver Perma HEPAtech Air Purifier Duo, model 30185

I just spoke with a Hunter representative about the correct Hunter model #’s for replacement filters for these units.

For the Eco-Silver carbon prefilter, I was told it should be #30601.

For the HEPAtech filter, which you do not have to replace (the manual says that when the light goes off to clean the HEPAtech filter, you just need to vacuum the filter to return it to about ~93% of it’s original performance level. However, if you would still like to get a replacement HEPAtech filter, then the correct model # is 30928, The Hunter rep warned me NOT to get # 30616 (apparently, some websites on the internet claim that this is the correct replacement, but it is NOT).

I hope this helps many of the owners of this filter, and I hope that HSN will decide to keep some of these filters and prefilters available, and that they will choose in the future to take the time to include this information on the description page for the purifiers, and on the description page for the replacement filters, so that customers will no longer have to go to this extra effort.
