Acer Liquid Leap Active SmartBand
I saw this and watched the presentation and it didnt show anything about how it worked for fittness. All the two Hosts talked about was it being an extention of your smart phone. I wanted to know if it showed heart rate and what activities it had like walking or lifting weights. I was wanting to know about the fittness . They talked several times about being in a movie and not having to take your phone out also kept talking about reading your text messages. I am not addicted to smart phones and dont have to be on one 24 hours of the day. I wish they had told what the fittness tracker would do forget about the text messages

I don’t have this tracker but it doesn’t have a heart rate monitor if that’s important to you and the reviews say the step count isn’t accurate. Also the sleep monitor on the Acer is manual and provides no details. Whatever brand you buy, get the black or a very dark band. The colors get very dirty no matter how careful you are and will never get completely clean looking after a couple of days.
You might want to look at Fitbit or Vivofit (Garmin). I wear a tracker everyday and have for almost 2 years and you want one that records both arm movement and vibration not just arm movement to be accurate. I walk over 3 miles everyday and also use an app on my phone, S Health, which allows you to select activities like running, walking, hiking, etc. It’s very accurate even if it’s in my pocket.
