Might As Well Record Just One Presentation
Lately I’ve noticed that all the presentations by one seller are almost the same. I set my recorder to record every presentation of the sellers I like but there is hardly anything new from one showing to the next. It was especially true for Iman the other day. There was no need for her to show up all day. They just should have showed the first one over and over again. Plus the TSV is 30 minutes long. Am I the only one who has noticed this? I think they should show at least one or two things that hadn’t been previously seen as the day progresses.

I record everything because I fast forward through most of it. I only stop when I see a product I am interested in, then if they go on and on, I’m on the fast forward button again. Usually after the first viewing, the first 30 minutes of each show afterwards is fast forwarded through automatically. I know I probably miss a lot of fun conversation but I just don’t have the patience for it.

Pammy… the only vendor, wherein I record all the shows, is Heidi Daus. But, it’s not because I’m so interested in Buying, I just love her personality and seeing all her Design Genius. I’m with OODIE… now that mooncat turned-me-on as to how to click on the ‘WATCH’ Link in the Program Guide, I see the shows that way… I love being able to ‘Forward’ thru the presentations. I very rarely ever watch any of the shopping channels on TV.
And, yeah, the TSV’s run waaaay too long… after 15-minutes, they’re positively BORING!

Hi Pam. I never record any of the presentations. If there is something I’m interested in, I watch the on-line video. I agree, all the presentations sound alike and become quite boring. The TSV used to run between 10 and 15 minutes, but now go for a half hour. Then there is the hype where you just have to purchase. As soon as I hear that end, it turns me off completely. Also, when it is electronic equipment, it would be most helpful if the presentation showed you how to use it from beginning to end. Many customers do not own “smart” TVs, a more up to date cell, computer or even an android. And with so many different products to choose from, why would I want yours. Then there are the hosts who love interrupting and thus the vendor loses their train of thought.
