Isn’t anyone at all curious about “virtual stretch”?

The word virtual refers to the act of creating a virtual (rather than actual )

version of something.

Hmmmmm……………………Like is it a make believe stretch?

From what I noticed witrh all her jeans, jeggings etc. with any kind of flex stretch & super stretch the sizing is way off. I’ll look at the size chart and it recommends a 10 or 12 which meant to me order a 2 or 4.

In the end I don’t like the cut or fit of her jeans anyway so I don’t buy them.

The things I do have that seem to be true to size because they don’t have massive amounts of stretch are her faux leather & ponte jeggings in size 2, the window pane leggings in Small,  and the corduroy jeans she did for Lyric Culture in a 4.

I read the fabric content of the TS embroidered jeans and there’s only 1% spandex with 2 inches of ease between garment and the critiucal fit which tells me there’s less stretch. The size chart told me to order a 12 so I ordered a 6 not being sure but at least there’s less room for a complete disaster.

Maybe check the % of spandex in the flex or super stretch that say there’s 4-10 inches of ease between the garment and critical fit.

Okay….don’t normally post but couldn’t help myself.  Viewed this briefly, but in the time I did, I heard her say something about the fabric and something having to do with GLOBAL WARMING and the fabric.  Come on….that’s a little bit too politically correct even for me……keep politics out of the fabric business especially since even though we know warming is a possibly, it is not a proven fact. Quite frankly I was astounded to see PC being used in this way.  No responses needed, just get enough PC on Facebook, etc, without it being used to sell clothing.  Sorry, on a ramp I guess. Just stick to the description of the fabrics, etc., and don’t add the PC stuff.

Lacey, I amassed about 60 pair of her jeans when she first came to hsn. Quality, consistent sizing, and imagine this-studs/rhinestones were set with grommets!!  As the years went on, I could order 3 of same size/style, just different colors, and ugh could be up to 2″ difference in size, and some were crooked, the embellishments were glued and cold gentle wash inside out, just air dry, would always find the “sparkles” in the dryer. Gave up and found other prices to purchase jeans for “elders” with tummys reasonably priced. So, usually dont watch her, nothing else on tv, and saw these were actually embroidered, not a heat set rubber transfer at $89 she touted as painted! So, once again a new fabrication, do expect them to be thin versus heavy denim as she said all year round. Ordered 3 pair, not excited, due to the progressive decline in her attire, but hoping I guess that these will fit, and all 3 will be same measurement. It is a shame for anyone who did not purchase when she first aired, as they were quality. Her new thing is how she is seeing embroidered jeans by designers(who cares) that are $1200. Geez, just the facts, diane, just the facts. Proof for me, now is in the fit & quality. One last try.

Can anyone tell me what size to order? I’m just in a 12 14 is too big. Should I order these true to,size ? I have never ordered her jeans?

It sure would be great if a mod could get word to the producer to get detailed sizing info from the models;

What size are they in now?

What is their usual HSN size?

What is their regular size in the regular world?

Is the waist too loose?

It is always a crap shoot trying to figure out the right size and if that size if you happen to find it will stay put and not sag and bag….I swore of DG2 for constant size and bagging issues and now she brings these beautiful jeans that I have to try….

For what it’s worth, Diane said she was wearing a 4 but could have easily have worn a 2.  That tells me it runs a little smaller than super stretch.  But who knows?  However, the 4 was plenty tight so I don’t think she could have worn a 2.  Wish she would have mentioned whether the jeans in black had the same stink as most of the others!

The sizes are not consistent,  even in  the same jean!   I am anywhere from a 6T to a 10T , depending on the particular color and style.  It is always a blind shot.  The description of the fit reads the same on the super stretch, but you would think being “super stretch” you would have more give.   Bummed out on guessing.
