Heidi Brooches and Pins Question

Thank you so much ladies. I spent hours trying to get my first Pin to work . The only one I could make work was the large chain link necklace and I was afraid I was gonna break the back of the pin. I ordered several sold out Heidi brooches on EBay. I could not get the pin thruthe cord. Eventualky was able to rope it thru the back. Like you said it depends on the depth you have to work with on the back . Absolutely, I wish Heidi would put a bail on every pan she does so that we can wear as a necklace. today’s material is so thin . That just leaves coats, and jackets and honestly we all dress so casual today or so many are retired . I am new to pins and probably so is the younger generation . Kudos to the last TSV introducing everyone to PIns! Heidi if your listiening give us a bail on every pin. Your sales with double !! Can you also make a pearl necklace design for the pins? THE best Necklace is Heidi’s ‘Classically Clever’ Necklace made specifically by her to convert Pins into Pendants. Unfortunately, they’re all sold out. I bought one in the Cream and have asked Heidi to bring these Necklaces back in all manner of colours.

Other than that, I’ve strung them on strands of Pearls, Rope Necklaces, and thick Link Necklaces as you’ve mentioned.

Here’s the ‘Classically Clever’. The Center Ring allows for hanging Vertical Pin Closures. However, you can snap it out and hang a Horizontal Pin Closure between the two Capstone Ends… it really is marvelous! Shown with Heidi’s ‘Swan Song’ Pin…

Vertical Pin Closures are the easiest to convert. The Horizontal Pin Closures are a bit more tricky. When not using the ‘Classically Clever’ Necklace, I will attach them to a very long strand of Pearls or Beads such as Heidi’s ‘Take II’ Necklaces…

Pins that have Diagonal Closures, I have found impossible to convert, which is why, on Heidi’s last visit a couple days ago, I asked that she include a BAIL on all her Pins so we can easily convert them into Pendants.

It really varies based on the orientation of the pin back and how much space there us behind the pins. The bigger the space, the larger the bead or pearl you can use. Having the cord and metal chain from the Newport set is super useful. I also use my masterclasp with pins a lot and the pearl set with the magnetic flower/pearl tassel set. The infinity necklace is also pretty good. If you ever see masterclasp or the convertible set on clearance or super sale….grab them. They are wonderful.
