I got into a Heidi Daus shopping spree this summer. I think I deserve some gorgeous pieces after busting my derrière this year. And her jewelry is just stunning!

Most of my latest and greatest jewelry finds have come from HSN, since 1988. I love: Jay King, Nicky Butler, Michael Anthony, Victoria Wieck, Emma Skye, Technibond, Stately Steel and, lately, Sevilla Silver. The on trend yet classic styles from Sevilla are my dream come true! Outside of HSN, I buy vintage pieces, mostly sterling and designer costume, at thrift shops, consignments shops, and antique stores.

I acquired a very nice sized Morganite and diamond ring. I have other smaller stones set in pendants and earrings, but the new ring is really substantial. It will take me a while now to buy anything else in terms of jewelry. Hopefully a substantial Aquarmarine is in my future.

Best buy recently is a Cartier tank watch I found at a pawn shop. I bartered it down to $700. That’s also the best place to find real deals on gold as they almost always base the price on weight and the going price of gold. They don’t give much regard to style or design when determining price. Always take cash and always remember to negotiate.

Aside from the Morganite ring in rose gold that I mentioned I’m a bit gaga for the 36″ Tanzanite Necklace.
Colleen can you please show the clasp and let us know the level of ease or difficulty with it?
Also can you please show the back side of the jewerly when you present it? If all the hosts would do that I would send less jewerly back for not being to my liking.
For example w/ rings if the under gallery is not super smooth it will agitate my finger and I won’t be able to wear it. Many of the rings I have tried have had very jagged undergalleries or loose stones.
I’m hoping to wear the Tanzanite necklace doubled but I need to know that I can do the clasp.
Thanks!

I must say I’m looking forward to this 24 hr. jewelry event with Birthday pricing!
Currently I’m having a love affair with Labradorite and just happened upon Rarities newest 36″ Labradorite necklace which has yet to be presented. It arrives tomorrow, I can’t wait. Hoping it’s fabulous, I ordered on impulse with a 20% off coupon!
One of my favorite finds has been the very unconventional Hololith ring in clear Quartz and Rainbow Moonstone by Rarities. I’m drawn to the unusual and it is certainly that.

Hi, Colleen!
Here are mine:
Heidi Daus Pure Heaven cross bracelet – stunning!
Rarities MOP dangle earrings, the ones with a white zircon surround – outstanding!
My favorite, though, is my Galerie de Bijoux panther ring – pave diamonds in white gold from many years ago – sparkles like the dickens! Plus others collected over the years.

WELL, IT’S NOT THE LATEST – BOUGHT ABOUT 6 YRS AGO FROM VICTORIA WIECK – BUT IT’S TURNED OUT TO THE ONE OF THE GREATEST. A BANGLE THAT SHE PRESENTED IN AN ABSOLUTE WOVEN DESIGN IN ROSE GOLD VERMEIL THAT SHE SAID SPARKLED SO MUCH BECAUSE IT WAS A “HEARTS & ARROWS” CUT (MANY STONES). I IMMEDIATELY ORDERED IT AND THEN WENT BACK & ORDERED IT IN YELLOW VERMEIL. A FEW DAYS LATER ORDERED THE STERLING ONLINE. THESE PAST 6 YRS. THERE’S HARDLY A DAY THAT I DON’T WEAR ONE OF THE THREE! THEY’RE HOLDING UP BEAUTIFULLY AND I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE THEM. I NEVER REGRETTED ORDERING ALL 3 – SOMETHING I’VE NEVER DONE BEFORE OR SINCE (ORDERING MULTIPLES OF AN ITEM). LOVE YOU, COLLEEN!

I have to say it’s a pleasure to watch you. You always are bright and cheerful and you do your job very well. I do own one of your rings , I think it’s some type of an opal it’s orange-gold, has five stones, four smaller and one larger center stone.

Four pieces come to mind. One came a year late when it sold out about a year and a half ago. I am absolutely in love with Larimar. In 2014 you had a bracelet and ncecklace that matched. However, the price was $$$ and so I chose the bracelet and watched the necklace sell out. Of course I went on the waitlist but the necklace never returned and thus I sobbed inside over the loss, even though I could not afford both. Then just before the holidays last year my dream came true when it was offered again. Without hesitation I ordered it and have not been sorry. The workmanship on both pieces is without a doubt one of the best designs HSN ever sold. Second are the drusy pendants and bracelets that were offered by the Jacobs. No one has come close to those drusy designs and I was sorry when they left. Then there is the white and champagne ring by Carol Brodie. I hesitated in purchasing this item because others did not match up. This by far has the pizzaz I was looking for. A great ring that can be worn as a wedding band since mine was stolen many years ago. The diamonds are small, but they shine big. So much refraction that you would think each diamond was over a carat. And the champagne color is by far my favorite. Lastly Bellezza’s black spinel ring in bronze. Everyone thinks the stones are black diamonds in 14k gold. I have yet to tell them differently. It’s my secret. Or rather mine and HSN’S..

Jay King Sapphire necklace gifted to my Wife…Makes her so happy and it is honor of her Daddy!!! His passing is nearly 2 years now and she LOVES the necklace.Wears it always.
She also has a morganite ring from Rarities in Rose Gold Vermeil…It is her “Queen of My Heart” Ring.
Victoria’s Mexican Fire Opal ring…the one that looks like fire, graces the same hand: her right!!!
The white zircon ring that was made of yours holds her wedding ring on 🙂
My Wife and I have jewelry dates and are So happy to enjoy the many differing, unique and beautiful creations from so many of the designers at HSN!!!
If I ever won the lottery
She would clink (like an coat of armor)
As she walked down the street LOL 🙂
